1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using 5DollarTrip ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian to make a purchase.

2. Nature of the service

• 5DollarTrip is a demonstration product. It does not sell airline tickets and does not create reservations with any airline.
• After payment, the Service issues a simulated e-ticket. Booking references (PNR), e-ticket numbers, seat assignments, gates, and boarding passes are generated and carry no validity with any airline or travel system.
• Flight data (routes, times, airlines, real fares) is retrieved from the Duffel API in test mode for display purposes only. Display of an airline's name or logo does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
• Presenting a document issued by this Service at an airport will not get you on a plane.

3. Pricing

The "$5–$8 deal price" is a fictional promotional price generated for demonstration. The struck-through amount is the actual market fare shown for comparison and is not what you are charged. Promo codes modify the deal price at the operator's discretion.

4. Payments — all sales are final

• Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout and never touch this site.
• You are charged only the displayed deal price plus any selected extras (e.g. additional baggage) — never the regular fare.
• All payments are final and non-refundable. Because the product is delivered instantly (a simulated ticket generated at checkout), no refunds, exchanges, or chargebacks will be provided except where required by applicable law.
• Cancelling a booking in My Trips voids the simulated ticket but does not entitle you to a refund.
• Use Stripe test card 4242 4242 4242 4242 for demo purchases.

5. Bookings and documents

• You are responsible for the accuracy of passenger details entered. Issued documents reflect the data you provide.
• Simulated documents may be viewed, printed, or cancelled from My Trips using your booking reference.
• Promo codes, deal prices, and seat availability are provided as-is and may change without notice.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to use simulated documents for actual travel, scraping the Service, interfering with its operation, or misrepresenting documents issued by it as genuine airline tickets.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator accepts no liability for any loss arising from use of the Service, including reliance on simulated tickets, prices, or confirmations. If you need a real flight, book directly with an airline or a licensed travel agency.

8. Data and privacy

Passenger details are stored locally on this server only to render simulated documents and are never transmitted to any airline. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe under their privacy policy. No data is sold to third parties.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
